PC rooms
PC workstations
PC workstations are available in the reading rooms at all the University Library locations.
In each library some of the PC workstations are reserved for searching the online catalogue. You do not need a LMU user ID to access these catalogue-only computers.
PC rooms
Zentralbibliothek (Main Library)
Two PC rooms (PC room 1: Room F008 and PC room 2: Room F108) are situated in the Zentralbibliothek (Main Library). They are equipped with the following configurations:
- permanent PC installations (camera functions not enabled)
- Mensa card charging station (PC room 1)
- two computers, additional software Adobe Creative Suite 6 already installed and a book scanner (PC room 1)
These computers can be used by any member of the LMU in possession of a valid LMU user ID.
Internet access and the usual selection of Windows programs are pre-installed on all computers. Any data you create or edit on one of these computers can be saved to your USB thumb drive or printed at the CIP Pool's Print Centre.

Fachbibliothek Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Statistik
The Fachbibliothek Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Statistik has cooperated with the CIP rooms of the Faculties of Business Administration and Economics to provide members of both faculties access to combined workstations within the library. You can work at the faculty CIP Pool computers whilst simultaneously profiting from access to the media holdings of the Subject Library.
