Reading and study workspaces are freely accessible and can be used without prior reservation. A quota of workspaces is available to subject-specific students for a reservation via the reservations system.

Who may use the library
No restrictions. Some marked areas at workspaces can be reserved by members of the faculties 09 (Geschichte und Kunstwissenschaften) and 13 (Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaften). These workspaces must be vacated in the event of such a reservation.
