Lost cards
If you have lost your LMUcard or your library card, please ensure your account is disabled. This will prevent third-party misuse.
Blocking of the LMUcard
There are two ways to disable your LMUcard:
Blocking the University Library card
Please let us know the loss of your library card
- by calling in person at the Service Counter in the Zentralbibliothek (Main Library)
- by calling the telephone number 089 2180-2427
- by sending an e-mail to benutzung@ub.uni-muenchen.de
If your library card is later found your account can be re-activated at any time.
Replacement library card
If you lose your library card you can obtain a replacement at a charge of 5 Euro.
