Library closing times on public holidays

Every year on the following holidays all libraries of the UB stay closed:
- New Year's Day (January 1)
- Epiphany (January 6)
- Shrove Tuesday (all libraries close at noon except Wissenschaftliche Bibliothek Klinikum Großhadern, here the regular opening hours apply)
- Easter (closed from Good Friday to Easter Monday including Saturday)
- Labour Day (May 1)
- Ascension Day
- Pentecost (Sunday and Monday)
- Feast of Corpus Christi
- Assumption Day (August 15)
- German Unity Day (3. Oktober)
- All Saints' Day (November 1)
- Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day (December 24-26)
- New Year's Eve (December 31)
