Internet access from the PC workstations
Internet access is possible from all the PC workstations provided by the University Library's 15 locations. To use this free service you must log in using your LMU user ID.

Internet access via WLAN
All University Library locations are covered by WLAN, ensuring you have internet access from your mobile devices.
You can use one of the following options to gain free access to the internet:
- Eduroam research network
- VPN client
The VPN client is provided by the Leibniz-Rechenzentrum (Leibniz Computer Centre - LRZ). To install it you will need a LMU user ID.
If you need help configuring the eduroam WLAN access or the VPN client, please contact the WLAN support service of the IT-Servicedesk.

Internet access is an important step towards using the University Library's e-media collections. However, to gain access to full texts you will also have to authenticate yourself via the E-Media Login.
