SOS Term Paper
We're holding this workshop boot camp to provide you with special support during the writing and editing phase of your term papers.
Content
Each workshop covers essential principles and useful techniques, followed by time for questions. You are welcome to attend all the workshops, or just individual sessions.
The programme includes:
- 1 pm - 2 pm: Crash course in term paper writing
What to expect in a term paper and how to approach it successfully. - 2.15 pm - 3.15 pm: Research principles
In this workshop you will learn how to conduct effective and targeted research. - 3.30 pm - 4.30 pm: Subject, thesis, and research question
Guidance on how to structure your paper thematically and formulate a clear research question. - 4.45 pm - 5.45 pm: Create a schedule
Here we show you practical tips and strategies for efficiently planning and organizing your writing project.

Wednesday, August 6 2025: 1 pm - 5.45 pm, the workshops take place as a face-to-face training in the Training Room of the University Library (Zentralbibliothek, ground floor, room F002)
