If you are in the Lernzentrum Leo 13 the nearest place to get something to eat and drink is the Leopoldstraße Mensa (Refectory/Cafeteria), run by the Studentenwerk (Student Services Office), with its Stu-Café and the Lavazza Café. The Mensa building is in the courtyard behind the Leopoldstraße 13 building.

The Stu-Café Adalbertstraße is located in the main LMU building. Automatic dispensers for hot and cold drink are available in the café. Light snacks are also available as is additional seating, which can be used for working outside the normal café service hours.

The Martinsried Mensa (Großhaderner Straße 6) is located in the immediate vicinity of the library. To reach the espresso bar in the Biozentrum Martinsried (Großhaderner Straße 2), go through the adjoining wing of the Department Biology II.

A Stu-Bistro is located on the ground floor of Building F (Butenandtstraße 13) immediately next to and below the library. There you will find ice-cream and drinks dispensing machines (coffee and cold drinks).

The cafeteria on the lower ground floor of Oettingenstraße 67 offers a full range of refreshments.

Within the building (next to the lockers) there are drinks and snacks dispensing machines. The Mensa (Refectory/Cafeteria), run by the Studentenwerk (Student Services Office), is located in Arcisstraße 17. Furthermore you will find a wide selection of cafés and restaurants in the surrounding area.

The nearest place to take a break from work and re-fill your energy tanks is the Stu-Bistro on the 1st floor of the front building in Schellingstraße 3. You will find a wide range of cafés and restaurants in Schellingstraße and Amalienstraße.

Within the library there is a lunch room. You will find several restaurants and cafés near the library.

The student café Gumbel and a coffee dispenser are located on the ground floor of Theresienstraße 37. You will find a wide selection of cafés and restaurants of every description in Theresienstraße and the surrounding area.

Automatic dispensers for hot and cold drinks and snacks are located in the library building. The Mensaria Goethestraße (Goethestraße 70) and the Mensaria Schillerstraße (Schillerstraße 47) are both situated near the library. You will find more cafés and restaurants in the surrounding area.

The Mensa in Leopoldstraße (Leopoldstraße 13a) is within easy walking distance of the library and offers a full range of refreshments. You will also find a large number of cafés and restaurants in the area around the library (Veterinärstraße and Königinstraße).

There is a Primo Cafébar on the ground floor of the rear building (Ludwigstraße 28). Furthermore, you will find a baker's shop at the subway station and a wide selection of cafés and restaurants in the surrounding area.
