Lockers
Lockers for your coats and bags are located in the immediate vicinity of all library locations. The LMU's facility management department is responsible for their maintenance.
At several locations you will need a padlock to use one of the lockers. You can obtain a padlock online in the LMU web shop or on-site at the LMU shop vending machine at the Fachbibliothek Philologicum.
Please remember to bring your own padlock at the following locations:

- Fachbibliothek Chemie und Pharmazie
- Fachbibliothek Englischer Garten
- Fachbibliothek Geowissenschaften
- Fachbibliothek Mathematik und Physik
- Fachbibliothek Philologicum
- Fachbibliothek Rechtswissenschaft
- Fachbibliothek Theologie und Philosophie
- Fachbibliothek Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Statistik
- Zentralbibliothek (wing F of the LMU main building)
To use these lockers you will need a padlock with a shackle thickness of 6-7mm and a minimum clearance width of 16mm.
At all other library locations you will need a two-Euro coin or a token as deposit to use a locker. You can obtain tokens from the LMU shop. A different procedure is in operation in the Fachbibliothek Tiermedizin: here the locker key will be checked out to your library account.
All day lockers in the LMU must be emptied in the evening.
In addition to the day lockers the following Subject Libraries offer lockers bookable for use over a longer period.
