- Reading and study workspaces are freely accessible and can be used without prior reservation.
- A quota of workspaces is available to LMU staff and students for a reservation via the reservations system.
- The work desks in both the General and the Rare Books Reading Rooms can be accessed via a single entrance.
- Both CIP-Pools (Computer Pools) have unrestricted access. You will need your LMU user ID to use the computers there.
Service
All users in possession of a valid library card may borrow items from the stacks.

Barrier-free access, Photocopiers, Book scanner, Internet-PCs, WLAN, Mensa card charging station, Pay station
You need your own padlock with a shackle thickness of 6-7mm for the lockers in building parts D and F.
