The LMUcard is the LMU's multifunctional chip card for students and doctoral candidates currently enrolled at the LMU. Employees of the LMU are advised to apply for an LMUcard with integrated library function.

If you have not (yet) received your LMUcard you can ask for a library card to be issued to you.

The contact point for registration is the UB.info in the central library. Alternatively, you can also apply for a library card digitally: Please send us an e-mail to benutzung@ub.uni-muenchen.de and upload all the required documents using the upload form.

If you already have a library card and would like to extend it, please send us an email to benutzung@ub.uni-muenchen.de and upload the document confirming your affiliation with the LMU using the upload form.
