Campus Delivery Service (Campuslieferdienst)

The Campus Delivery Service (Campuslieferdienst) is the University Library's journal article delivery service. Staff and postgraduate doctoral candidates of the LMU can order copies of articles from printed books and journals held by the University Library and not available electronically. Please check the number on your library card to make sure that you can use the Campus Delivery Service. You are eligible to use this service if your library card number starts with 03…, 04…, 10…, 11…, 43…, 45…, or 46…

Copies ordered through the service will be sent directly to you by e-mail within 14 working days. The service is free of charge.

How to order articles from printed books

  1. Please use your library card number to log in to your account in the online catalogue.
  2. Search the online catalogue for the book you require.
  3. Select the option "Campuslieferdienst" under the tab "Get document".
  4. The order form will open. Enter the page numbers of the section you require.
  5. If you are not sure of the details, use the comments field to enter any further information you may have.
  6. Submit your order.

How to order journal articles

  1. Please use your library card number to log in to your account in the online catalogue.
  2. Search for the journal you require.
  3. Check under "Get document" to see if the volume you need is held by the Library.
  4. Select the option "Campuslieferdienst" under the tab "Next".
  5. The order form will open. Enter author, title and page numbers of the required article. Please enter the bibliographical details as accurately as possible.
  6. Submit your order.

Please note

  • For copyright reasons we are able to offer this service only to the staff (academic and non-academic) and postgraduate doctoral candidates of the LMU.
  • For the same reasons deliveries are limited to a maximum of 30 pages and to publications not available elsewhere in electronic form.
  • In the order form, you can use both Arabic and Roman numerals.
  • Campus Delivery is one available for publications that are not accessible electronically elsewhere.
  • For publications older than 100 years please contact the Abteilung Altes Buch (Rare Books Department).
