If this is the case, you should first check to see if the required medium is held by any other library in Munich. Should you not be able to locate a copy, you can order the item from another academic library using the interlibrary loans service.

Munich City Library
The Munich City Library is one of the largest public libraries in Germany and is responsible for serving the literature needs of Munich's citizens. The Central Library at the Gasteig site, the Law Library and the Music Library all have collections of interest to scholars.

The German Union Catalogue of Serials (ZDB) is the largest journals and newspaper location register in the world. It contains records of printed and electronic journals. Use the tab "Holdings" to display exact details of the volumes of a particular journal or newspaper held by the listed libraries.
