DEAL contracts
The LMU München has signed up to nationwide DEAL agreements with the publishing houses Elsevier, Wiley and Springer Nature. These agreements provide members of the LMU with electronic access to almost all of the publishers' journals, together with new ways of publishing research results on open access.
Invoicing for publications in the Gold Open Access journals of both editors is carried out by the University Library after the publication. If the article is eligible for funding under the LMU Open Access Fund, the funding amount will be deducted directly from the invoice amount.
All three agreements cover the period 2024 to 2028.
