Archaeology

To make sure your literature searching skills are up to scratch, please take a look at the general information on search techniques under the heading "How do I find ..." in the navigation bar of this web page.

In the Datenbank-Infosystem (Database Information System) DBIS you will find a list of databases related to the field of Archaeology and available through the University Library. In addition to the subject-specific databases, which you can use to search for journal articles and other bibliographical references, you will also find a list of reference works, dictionaries and full-text databases. In particular, please note the list of "Top Databases".

You will find the contact details of your archaeology subject specialist in the service column on the right-hand side of this web page.
