Subject-specific databases

  • Via medici kreuzen Vorklinik
    This interactive database contains all examination questions of the 1. ÄP from spring 1998 onwards, including answers and detailed explanations (in German).
  • AMBOSS
    This database is a combinded learning and research tool for all clinical subjects in preparation for the 2. ÄP (in German).
  • Medline
    Covers citations from more than 5,200 mostly Anglo-American journals, starting 1946, often with short abstracts.  
  • Embase
    Covers citations from about 7,000 mostly European journals, starting 1974, often with short abstracts.

You will find additional databases pertaining to the field of medicine in the Datenbank-Infosystem DBIS (Database Information System) under the subject heading „Medizin”.
